Super User FishTank Posted July 15, 2021 Super User Posted July 15, 2021 Did I miss the memo? When did this happen? Quote

bigspirit Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 “Entry level” rod for $250. I have a few E6X and a couple older bronzebacks but at this point might be looking elsewhere going forward. Unless this beats out the other rods at this price point Quote
Super User jimmyjoe Posted July 16, 2021 Super User Posted July 16, 2021 I see the spinning guides still have 1940's blackwall tires for inserts. ? jj Quote
Super User dodgeguy Posted July 16, 2021 Super User Posted July 16, 2021 Your my Sea Hero !!! Why would I buy that when bass pro Johnny Morris has Fuji sic at 149 or Dobyns has Fuji alconite at 179 and lifetime warranty? Quote
Super User FishTank Posted July 16, 2021 Author Super User Posted July 16, 2021 I do enjoy and love all the Loomis rods I have but I have always said the fun begins with the IMX line up. Hopefully this new series will change my mind. The previous offerings at this price point (GL2, GL3, and the E6X) just didn't do it for me but I know several people that fish these rods and love them. Quote
Super User ATA Posted July 18, 2021 Super User Posted July 18, 2021 They replacedEx6 by this one, in my idea Ex6s where better and more complete line up than this one. Anyways I am going to stick to my conquest my whole life and pass them to my son after that Quote
