aarogb Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 I think this is a new bass boat company. I saw them at the the North Carolina Fishing Expo and let me tell you it was a very nice looking boat. I wonder if it performs as good as it looks. http://www.phoenixbassboats.com/ Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted January 16, 2010 Super User Posted January 16, 2010 Ya, I had seen them too. And I like how they set everything up, and the little things too. But that is not saying how they handle on the water? But they look good! Quote

That is the only company to think of that. All-in-all it was a very egronomic boat. Quote
Super User cart7t Posted January 16, 2010 Super User Posted January 16, 2010 An investment group bought out the old Bumble Bee boat company. The phoenix line is a new design and hull, the "Bee Line" of boats are the old Bumble Bee hulls built on the molds that were bought. While I never owned one I heard that the old Bee's were well built boats but were fairly regional as the company didn't have a large dealership base. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted January 16, 2010 Super User Posted January 16, 2010 Semi-Pro Angler, Jeff Coble brought two of them to the Richmond Fishing Expo. One of them is his 2009 tournament boat and is for sale, he has a new one on order. Quote
westpalmfrogpunk Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I saw a few guys with these at the Southern open this week and got to meet the owner. Very impressed with these boats. If I had the money it would be tops on my list. Quote
Ellesar Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Just got done taking a close look at one at a boat show. I was looking forward to seeing one up close and I was disappointed. They look cheap to me, the fit and finish looked haphazard. The quality of materials like carpetting was cheap. I'd been thinking about geting one of these and had a buddy who is Looking for a new boat and had been intrigued by all that we'd seen and heard about the 721. But after seeing it in person I Personally won't bother with it again. He price the had on it at the show pit it in the same category as a bunch ofnither boats that are amlot better IMO. Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted January 18, 2010 Super User Posted January 18, 2010 I saw my first ones at the PAA tourney on Lake Conroe last fall. Not sure how well they are put together, but the ones I saw sure do sparkle. Jack Quote
Super User Catt Posted January 18, 2010 Super User Posted January 18, 2010 I ran one last year it kinda reminds me of a Legend Quote
