From our pack to yours we’re sorry to hear this. One of the hardest things we have to go through is letting our friends cross the rainbow bridge.

I don't care how tough you think you are, you cry like a baby when you loose one that's been like a family member.   One of the hardest things I've ever done is take one to the vet to be put down after 17 years of being with us.   I've been fortunate with the others, they all went fairly quickly without much warning and not having to make that trip to the vet.

Lost my best bud a month and a half ago to a sudden and severe case of multi centric lymphoma.  It sucks more than anyone can put into words.  It's heart wrenching and the pain will be there for a while but it does get better.  The hardest is the daily things that happen where you think they'll still be there but then they're not.  Eventually those turn into nice reminders of the pup you loved.  Every day I wish I still had my Sophie around but I'm glad to have the memories from when she was.  From the bottom of my heart, I'm so sorry for your loss.  I feel for you more than you know.

That's terrible and I'm sorry for your loss... looks like he was quite a splendid fella. Approximately 3 years ago we lost all 3 of our dogs over the course of a few months and it was an absolute gut punch to the family's gut. Planted a dogwood tree out back for each of them and still think of them often. RIP Teddy.

Sorry for your loss.  We’ve got a 17 year old Weimaraner that is starting to fail.  It’s our 2nd one.  The first was my dog bonded to me like a glove.  The current one is bonded to my wife.  I got him for that reason because I was on the road so much.  I don’t know if I can go through it again after this one departs.
