Run2jeepn Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 I've never really fished Table Rock much. Heading to Aunts Creek Tomorrow. Well be in a buddies Bass Tracker. Suppose to get up to 90 degrees. I really only fish rivers. Any tips? Was going to try Spinners, Ned Rigs, Texas/Carolina Rigs and mix in a few cranks. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 7, 2021 Global Moderator Posted July 7, 2021 The lake is up to my understanding. I've heard tell of a spinnerbait bite around bushes. If there's bushes in the water, I'd be fishing a topwater around them, flipping a plastic in them, and when the sun gets got, fishing a jig/tube/ned,shakyhead out in front of them. 2 Quote

I'll pick up a couple of few Spinnerbaits. I've got tons of Plastic. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted July 7, 2021 Super User Posted July 7, 2021 The spinnerbait bite has been good around Aunts. One of my friends had a good trip flipping. He said he never got out of sight of the ramp. 1 Quote

I know this is an old thread, but how did you do? I’ve never fished this area before but after looking at it on the map it looks like it might be a decent spot for kayak fishing. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted August 12, 2021 Super User Posted August 12, 2021 There are lots of big pleasure boats in that area until the weather gets cooler. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted August 12, 2021 Super User Posted August 12, 2021 I fished here in 1958, one year before Table Rock was officially open to the public. We killed 'em drifting a new bait, Creme Purple Worm. Quote
Super User scaleface Posted August 12, 2021 Super User Posted August 12, 2021 I stayed at the aunts creek resort twice in the 80's and 90's. Last time there it was gone . I never caught a lot at Table Rock but always manage to get a few . Quote
