I have a 2005 Nitro 882 and I want to change out all the pumps this spring just to be safe. The live-well pumps are readily accessible but the bilge pump is mounted,(with very little clearance), under the gas tank.

Anybody have the same boat that has changed out their bilge pump and can let me know what I'm in for?

yep just did it last year not on that boat, but pretty much the samething. Take the tank out it's so much easier. Here's how. Drain your tank, there should be 4 screws holding the tank in place, take them out. After that's done disconnect the fill-up and the vent hoses. You might need to disconnect you livewell hoses also. Your tank should be ready to come out. :)

When the tanks out I'll usually clean the whole storage compartment now that there's nothing really in your way now. B)
