So I have just purchased the lews xfinity combo and was putting line on it and it was not spooling perfectly even I was using a clinch knot like I always do on my casting reels and never have had an issue, is it the knot maybe? Or maybe is it just the reels fault? Any solutions would be useful, thanks!

Pic of the spooled reel might help.

Do a search in the line, rod and reel forum about uneven spooling,

There's a size limit - e-mail the pic to yourself, selecting 'Medium' as the size.

Don't worry about it just yet. Tie a lipless, crankbait or some other moving bait on and take it to the water and cast it and retrieve it. Then see if you have issues.

Depending on how uneven it is, it might not be an issue. Seems a lot of spinning reels tend to be a bit top heavy on where they like to lay line, but still function fine. Obviously, there's a limit to where it's no longer fine though. You might try using it a little and see if it seems to be a problem or not.

Oh my goodness just tried this and it fixed it completely, threw a lead weight just now in the backyard and fixed! Thanks brother!
