mmm...that sounds GREAT.  i dont add butter to my oats.  just didnt grow up eating it that way.

As an interesting substitute for butter, I sometimes add peanut butter.  A buddy who is a doctor told me it's his favorite way to add some protein to oatmeal.  I tried it and liked it! (creamy or crunchy PB)

smoked venison backstrap breakfast taco

getting the papas right is important

bt2-1.jpg?width=1920&height=1080&fit=bou

aluminum foil is an essential ingredient for breakfast tacos - the oils have to steam together.

You eat this on the drive to the fishing.

At work it's quiche in a mug.

1 whole egg

1 egg white

1/2 oatmeal toast - hand shredded

About 1/4 cup shredded baby spinach or arugula

About 2 TBS of 1% milk

1/4 - 1/2 TBS butter

Toast bread

In a coffee mug, add spinach or arugula with about 2 TBS of water and microwave for 30 seconds

Drain water

Add egg, egg white, 1% milk, 1/2 shredded toast and butter. Microwave for 1 min. 15 seconds.
