Infidel. Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Now if I had Yellow Perch in my waters I would be throwing this guy. What do you guys in the northern waters think? Quote
Super User Raul Posted August 3, 2007 Super User Posted August 3, 2007 There are no perch in my waters, perch colored cranks are some of the baits that mimic fish not found in my waters that I fish consistenly. Free your mind of the color issue. Quote

Super User Gatorbassman Posted August 3, 2007 Super User Posted August 3, 2007 Most people don't know that we have yellow perch down here in GA to. As a matter of fact most of the fishermen around here don't know we have them. That's my favorite color crankbait. I will have to give one of these guys a try. Quote
Cigarlover 1 Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Wow. I was just getting ready to go pull the trigger on a couple swimbaits and this will now be one of them. That looks great. Perch is one of my go to colors. I'm not going to complain about it but a little more yellow would be nice. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 I'm with Craig, that's sweet! My water has a very healthy population and that's a perfect match!! Quote

Free your mind of the color issue. Oh I fish perch patterned baits all the time. Trust me, I have a freemind about color. I catch quite a few fish on firetiger but in all of my years in southern Califorinia I have yet to see one of the hot little cats swimming around my lake They have trout and other patterns but I don't like the way they look with this bait's profile. I have plenty of swimbaits that have profiles and patterns that match the bait out here (trout, bass, carp, stripper, and bluegill) so I have no desire to try this out here. I am sure it would work here but it just seems like it would rock in the Perch filled waters. Quote

See the phrase below my avatar ? It can be translated from the japanese as: "mind as clear as water" ....... too much zen for me :-?, here between buddies it means .- free your mind ...... your arse will follow. Quote
bass109 Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 I guess using fish that are not native in your body of water works. Quote
Pond-Pro Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 Check these out!! Mattlures baits are sweet!! Quote
Super User Micro Posted August 5, 2007 Super User Posted August 5, 2007 How do you fish a lure like that? I don't see a lip. Does it have some built in action? Do you have to work it yourself? Thanks. Quote
Super User Raul Posted August 5, 2007 Super User Posted August 5, 2007 Cast, let it sink to the desired deoth and reel in slowly, barely enough to make the tail kick. Quote
