kiw0n2 Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Can anyone give me some advice on extending the deck of my 1993 16.5 Blazer bassboat? I fish tournaments and I have no room on my deck to place additional fishing poles this is my first boat so I dont know much but if there is any info out there to help me out please let me know. Thanks!! Quote
bowfish12 Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Try . and go the the bassboat restoration forum- they will give you some good advice, as well as many other threads there that will give you a starting point. I'll pm you the website, since it's blocked here. Quote
MSPbass Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Just checked out that site. As a new, used, boat owner myself, it looks like something I'm going to benefit from as well. Thanks for posting that tip B12. Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted January 9, 2010 Super User Posted January 9, 2010 Most tournaments will not allow an add on in the front deck. I would be very careful what I did just in case you disqualify your boat from tournament fishing. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted January 9, 2010 Super User Posted January 9, 2010 You can always build a box with a lid that allows you more storage and have it so you can lift it out if necessary. That is what I have done in my Champion with a extra seat pedestal if I ever need to take 2 people with me. It just lifts in and out and doesn't move at all when I have it in the boat. Quote
