Brian_Reeves Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Snag Proof's new jig looks interesting to say the least. Anyone know anything about it and where are they on sale at? Thanks Quote
Brad_Coovert Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 I think I saw those at their booth at the ICAST show. I would supect they will be out later this fall. Brad Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted August 2, 2007 Super User Posted August 2, 2007 i HATE their frogs, but the jigs look like a no fail system! Quote
Brad_Coovert Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Two hooks can help with hooking a bass better, but most fish get hooked pretty well on jigs with single hooks. Of course, two hooks double your hang up chances. Also, rigging a trailer on one might be interesting. :-? I did not get my hands on one to see how they provide for attaching a trailer. Brad Quote
Infidel. Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Also, rigging a trailer on one might be interesting. I did not get my hands on one to see how they provide for attaching a trailer. There is a wire on the bottom for trailers. I get better hook ups with a single hooked Kanji frog than any of the frogs with the double EWG so I am personally not crazy about a double hooked jig. Now instead of the power of your hookset pushing a single hook through one brush guard, the force is split over two. They also say it is great because it doen't roll over but I never have that problem with jigs anyways. I am all about trying new things but I am not impressed with this one... yet. Quote
Infidel. Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 I guess we will find out when the are on the market. Watch, we end up loving em Quote
