So I just wanted to get an idea of what certain guys like to throw. You got swimbaits, jerkbaits, squarebills, lipless, deep divers, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits,  spybaits, Arigs, in line spinners, swimjigs and so much more. what are your favorite baits? I really like weedless kaitechs or swimjigs because I fish alot of grass, what about you and why?

Texas Rigs & Jig-n-Craw ?

Ain't no law saying ya can't fish em fast. The hottest thing going right now is swimming a Speed Craw or Speed Worm.

probably a spinnerbait and followed closely with a weightless paddletail fluke. I feel I can adapt either to a good range of conditions/environments and get good results.

I throw all types of moving baits throughout the year...lipless, bladed jigs, all types of cranks such as shallow divers, square bills, wake cranks, flatsides, buzzbaits. Hands down my two favorite are spinnerbaits and swim jigs.

My favorite moving bait right now is the Strike King 3XD. That will change in the fall to an H2O Xpress CRS Squarebill.  In the winter my favorite will be a Jackall Rerange 110.

It changes with the fish.

If I had to pick one it would be the 3XD, but that's because it's a new love.

None of what you listed.

Moving baits aren’t restricted to just hard or blade baits

My #1 is a Magnum Speed Worm followed by a Rage Cut R

Spinnerbaits or crankbaits get thrown 50% of the time, just about every time I go fishing.  I've got a lot that I'll go through, depending on the depth, recovery speed, and activity of the fish.

As for favorite brand, I don't care much.  Anything chartreuse that's cheap and easy to find in stores works for me.  I'm less likely to want to throw expensive or hard to find lures where the fish are.  So I'm mainly throwing Strike King, War Eagle, Berkley, Rapala, Booyah, Norman, etc.

Spinnerbait.  Big, small, one blade, two blade, fat blades, skinny blades, light colors, dark colors, Fast, slow, bottom, top, weeds, wood, or rocks.  I always have one tied on.

swimming worms are great, and versatile too! you can go from swimming them through cover and if you see something on the bank you can flip to it too! great trailer options too for some lures ;)

My favorite is probably a topwater of some kind.

My most effective is either a jerk bait (spring), chatterbait, or spinnerbait.

Favorite moving bait?

This is a tough one ~ so many choices.

A jerkbait has accounted for some very respectable Brown bass

but my PB came on a Big Spinnerbait.

6 & 7 inch Swimbaits have been responsible for a large percent of the biggest Green bass I've taken, but my PB choked a Big Rattle bait.

I'm so conflicted . . . . .

Either way, I'm going to say it's something from one of these boxes:

Spinnerbait. But they have been less effective for me this time of year and I won’t force it. @Catt and @Mike L mentioned swimming a worm. That treated me well recently.

I don't care what my favorite is, I care what the bass's favorite is. That changes season to season, hour to hour and location to location.             jj

Crankbait

I never woulda guessed. I bet it's a Norman.

Same goes for me. There is something to be said about precise depth control, which I can't achieve with a spinnerbait, jig, worm, or others.  I know what depth my cranks run and how they 'feel' when I'm cranking.  I'll fish a new one for hours just to get in tune with it.
