June 21 st will be our 53 rd anniversary. Had some rough times, and some Great times. As we get older, we don't seem to talk as much as we use to, maybe cuz we know what each other is thinking from being together for 55 years. All told, she's the light of my life.

For you younger married folks, I suggest one important thing, and that is to Honest, and Communicate with one another.

Agree with everything you said, Hammer.

The 23rd will be my wife's and my 31st - and definitely, communication is the key.

Also, getting disagreements out of the way and never going to bed angry helps.

Congrats Hammer 4

Your right Mike lots of patience. We just celebrated our 51st anniversary yesterday the 20th. Funny thing we left town for the weekend & stayed at a bed & breakfast for two days. There was another couple there celebrating their 51st anniversary married on the same day as us back in 1970. What are the odds of that happening?

I love good news!

We celebrated our 38 last weekend and I am shocked to see how many of my friends chose to go in other directions.

You must be living right!

Congratulations. It will be 43 for us in September. I don't know how she has put up with me all these years but I'm glad she did.
