Deeper water Spook Strikes

What's the deepest water that you've ever had a bass strike a Spook, or similar walking bait?                 So far, mine was 16ft. Sometimes, over some clear or partially clear water, bass will shoot up and strike a Spook from some deeper water.                                      I learned this year's ago before I ever had a boat while bank fishing. Making long cast out to the middle of a large cove, I got a hard strike on a frog colored Zara Spook.                                     Later, when I got my first locator, we marked this spot at roughly 16ft.                                                   Ever since then, I always make a few cast over deeper areas when I'm fishing a Spook.                 What would you estimate the deepest water you've had a bass hit a walking bait?

It’s not uncommon for suspended bass hanging near a 35’ deep thermocline in the Colorado River lakes to strike Gun Fish, Sammy’s, Spooks etc in water over several hundred feet deep. Local lakes with a 35’ thermocline the bass will come and strike the same surface lures water around 80’.

Mine was on a jitterbug in about 15 to 20 FOW.

I have caught bass in 70 foot but I was fishing emergent standing timber so that doesnt count .

The deepest I've had a smallmouth come up for a Spook was 25ft.  I've caught them over deeper water, but they weren't on the bottom, so I have no idea how far up they actually came.  For largemouth, 18ft. More than once from the same, short piece of structure.

I've caught some over 40-50 feet of water on Table Rock fishing over the tops of submerged trees and along bluff walls as well as the front of docks.

I've caught Spots on Spooks over 40 - 90 FOW.
