Hey guys looking for a little help on what to purchase. I am in the market for a high end rod and reel and looking for a new Loomis rod. I do about 70/30 bank fishing to boat fishing and can't decide on a model. There is nowhere in my area for my to get my hands on one and see what they feel like. I'll be putting a Metanium DC on the rod, and trying to figure out if the NRX+ is worth the extra $$$. Any advantages/disadvantages to each? Thanks guys.

Punch fishing has a early YouTube review of the differences he can feel. No one right now has more than a week or two on the water with them.

Personally I think if you’re pounding the bank a  843 MBR or 873c will give you the most bang for your buck.

To be fair when we’re talking $600+ rods you really should fish one. I’ve fished with a few and while they are fantastic I’ve always leaned towards JDM rods at the enthusiast level.

Buy the best between the two you can afford, if you can afford the NRX but considering a GLX just go with the NRX otherwise you'll always be wondering "what if"

The Conquest is a better rod than the NRX under the Shimano Umbrella, if you want the best of the best in the Shimano line up consider the Poison Ultima.
