On standing timber ,poppers , square bills, texas rigs .In Chara algae toads , spinnerbaits , buzzbaits .On shallow points Long A minnows , buzzbaits , squarebills , spinnerbaits , jigs , texas rigs Quote
Super User the reel ess Posted June 14, 2021 Super User Posted June 14, 2021 It's already summer here, so the usual summer rigs. Buzzbait-spinnerbait, Spook, Pop R, frog, jig, T rigs. When I went Saturday the fish were on the deep end of wood cover, near deeper water. I got a few bites on the lilies on the frog, but didn't get a hook in any of them. That tells me they were either small fish or just not committed. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted June 14, 2021 Super User Posted June 14, 2021 Unless I'm punching, I like to downsize when it gets hot. Finesse plastic worms, smaller sized creature baits on t-rigs, and 1/8 oz jig and craws I can pull through the weeds easily. Quote
