huZZah Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 Both my grandfathers served in WW II. One marine aboard the USS Essex, one army paratrooper at Normandy. It’s interesting to me now because growing up we all had that elementary school report to do where we called our grandparents and interviewed them about the war.
