I replaced my MK with a Force. Just wanted to know if the MK Maximum is worth anything? It still works great at 17 years old.

I was like a Mercury Force? Negative $ because you have to pay someone to take it. LoL

Not to sound rude, but probably not worth much. I would think you would hit the jackpot if you got a hundred dollars for it. I could be wrong though.

Mk maxum is a great trolling motor, should fetch 200 or so. It’s what I use many times a week, I got mine for $250 used 3-4 years ago

Oh yeah, now that I know we're talking trolling motors, makes perfect sense. My initial read was outboards. I'm done for the day, lol.

Even in great shape, it's still a 17 year old trolling motor. I bought a brand new Motor Guide for my johnboat for less than $300. There's a sucker born every minute though as the saying goes, so I guess it's worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. I'd be happy to get $100 if it was me.

Sure, I would ask more than $100. The 12v 55# Maxxum is $599 at BassPro and the 24v 65# is $649.

The 42" 70# 24v Maxxum w/Maximizer is listed on the MK site for $899. I have a '14 and my friend's is twice that age.

Put the price you think you would like to have for it.

If the first person that looks at it buys it without haggling, figure you sold it too cheap

If it take a few days and a few people to sell it, you had it about right.

If you still have it after a couple of weeks and have no hits on it, you want too much.
