I had planned on going out tomorrow - but launching the canoe and getting my feet wet when it's supposed to be under 40 at sunrise...um, no...I'll wait.

Lucky - it's 45 right now in the west Metro.

Weather has been really hit or miss up here in MA too. A few days were in the 70s, even low to mid 80s. Then it goes back to days in the 50s here too.

Fortunately, the water is warming up a bit which makes it easier to go out on a colder day on the kayak

I have to empathize with ya'll up there, wow.

Did a lot of whining this spring because of wind and cooler than average temps but now we've seen several days in the 90's.

Lol same. I can’t stand cold weather anyway, but for the most part I can still fish throughout.

That just sucks for y’all.

I’m on a fishing trip in northern Wisconsin right now. The weather here has been great except for the high winds, rain and cold! Temps today were 40 degrees colder than just 2 days ago.

I'll trade the cold temps for about a 1,000 jet skis and wake boats on every reservoir here this weekend.

Yeah

My buddies and I are out of school, so we are going fishing tuesday!  Beating that memorial weekend crowd.

I feel bad that it is still cold for you up there.

I'll be at Wilson next Wenesday-Sunday so I might just skip it this weekend. I'll just end up mad if I go to the lake this weekend I imagine. Maybe sneak out to one of the small, local lakes for a few hours early in the morning or something.

I was going fishing Friday and Saturday.  Cold front came through today.  Lows are going to be in the mid 40's and highs both days may reach 60 degrees.  Add 20-25 mph winds, and I decided to stay home.

We actually had a cooler spring here than normal. All of may has been 50’s and low 60’s at night , and 70’s, low 80 ‘s during the day. Getting our first run of 90’s this week.

I cant imagine 40’s in May. It’ll make it that much better when you do make it out!

As for me, I’ll be starting the early morning trips and fish until 11 or so. The fish bite much better early in the morning here with summer weather...

No way am I fighting the boat traffic this weekend, staying clear of any body of water with a ramp.

I'm gonna sneak out for a few hours each morning, the 5:30-9:30 range

I'm lucky to have a few places to put in that are not ramps, so I can miss that hot mess!!

I feel bad for you guys up north, but its already too crowded down here so you might as well stay up there.?

Now you know how lucky we were on lake St Clair for a week of 75-89 degrees and zero wind.  It was a true freak of nature and we had a blast.  Normally we would be there this week leaving tomorrow.  Luckily I packed a couple of sun shirts along with my long Johns.?. Mornings were a bit cool but it warmed up nicely every day.

I'm heading out of town to visit my parents this weekend. They live up by a series of good fishing lakes that are connected called the Iowa great lakes...a place I've fished hundreds of times over the years. There is no chance I'm going this weekend for reasons listed above...I'd honestly just end up pis#$% off. When I get back Sunday tho the weather looks rainy and cruddy here so I will likely get out to my local with the hopes the rain will keep people in campers.

Mid 5’s.  In a weeks time I probably had 40-50 that size and averaged 60 fish a day.  Here is a weighed 5.5, we got tired of weighing them. ?

was thinking about goin to this little 17 acre lake just outside of fargo nd say 20 minutes from my house. Have been there before and caught pike.

It should be very busy due to it is also a park with picnic tables and bathrooms and has a very large pier and it may be crowded but the weather today is cool and super windy.

Right now at 12pm its 58 degrees with winds at 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 35 which will blow the food of any picnic table but also blow me off the dock, shore and i dont feel like wading today.

I got this stocking chart and was interesting to see what they put in this small lake which averages 9 ft and deepest place is just off the dock at 13 ft.
