Super User Munkin Posted May 26, 2021 Super User Posted May 26, 2021 Had to switch out the reel on my jig rod so I took a pic of my go-to jig. These are green pumkin with 1/2 a tab of brown mixed in. Trailer is a Zoom super chunk in GP but this one has changed color from sunlight. Allen 11 Quote

Two 22 strand tabs of green pumkin and 1/2 a tab of brown( I actually have about 9 different browns) that I just use the pencil tool. I want the brown to mix with the GP just to breakup the silhouette. Allen 1 Quote
Super User Columbia Craw Posted May 26, 2021 Super User Posted May 26, 2021 I like the bottom color best. Very nice. Quote

You're close, but missing the blue. Quote

Not a big fan of blue? I know everyone loves it but it just hasn't done much for me. If anything I would add a couple strands of orange to the first bait. Allen Quote
PaulVE64 Posted May 27, 2021 Posted May 27, 2021 I'm primarily a river fisherman so it depends on what stretch of river I'm on. I'm always looking to match the crayfish sandy bottom crayfish - tan brown with a bit of rust rocky bottom crawfish - watermelon and black with a bit of red Quote
Harold Scoggins Posted May 27, 2021 Posted May 27, 2021 I let the crawfish tell me what color to pitch/flip. Changes throughout the season. 1 Quote
