A big part of what makes BR the best bass fishing site on the web is our site moderators.                              We've got guys from up north, down south, both coast, and the Midwest who give good, honest helpful advice here.                         You guys are doing a

great job! I'd like to say thank you to all of our BR moderators here. Thanks for keeping the ball rolling for all of us here on BR.

Mods are the unsung heroes of forums. Thank you!

I find that most internet forums have trash mods who play favorites and have blatant biases. The worst are the "woke" mods.

Here however the mods are fantastic. This place is a gem.

The best job they do is policing the forums. I’ve lost count of places I used to post that got taken over by a vocal few and they ruined it. BR is run like a well-oiled machine. That’s a huge credit to Glenn and his mods.

Very true, it's a no nonsense site that allows " respectful " opinions with little policing. Lol

Moderation at it's best.

I think a lot of that has to do with the main mod in charge...

I think you are correct. This place is Glenn’s vision of what a forum can, and should, be. The rest of us are here to help him achieve that.

There's a lot of behind the scenes work that goes into it and way more that even us Mods don't get to see. Not just the putting the forums together, but the big one is getting the sponsors signed up that keep the forum funded. I've been on several different fishing boards, still check a few but rarely participate because I'm "an outsider", I'm always concerned I'll get jumped on if I say something that a regular doesn't agree with and I just don't have the time or energy to deal with that. When I came here the first time and started reading, you can tell it's different. Provided you're here for the right reasons, everyone was welcomed and engaged in the conversations like they'd been here forever. There was no hot button debates about no fishing related topics, it was great, I knew I'd found the place for me.

Bassresource mods are honestly the nicest and most respectful people I've ever came across on a forum, you definitely won't see this on the other fishing "forums" out there.

Just another reason why Bassresource IS the best fishing website out there.

Agreed!! I have been mostly reading and learning for the last year, posting a bit occasionally. I have to say I have spent a good deal of time on other forums for stuff like weight lifting, paintball, and quads and I have never seen a forum as enjoyable with little bickering and personal vendetta between members. Just quality info and a little humor to make it enjoyable. THANKS GUYS!

Bass Resources is the best bass fishing resource ~ bar none.

But it doesn't take long to understand that the Forum itself, goes well beyond that.

It's good people that make good places

and so often good people bring out the good in people.

I believe there's a lot of that going on here every minute of every day.

There may be no adequate thanks for a gift like that.

A-Jay, well said! There's a lot of great folks on this site. I feel like I've gotten to know some of them over time. And, the wealth of information here is outstanding! Thanks for being a part of it and making it all happen.

Ain't that the truth!  I've been on a lot of forums, and most act like a bunch of drunk people at a bar trying to start a fight.

And good job with the sponsors.  I've become aware of a lot of different products, retailers, and services that I didn't even know existed through this site.  And, best of all, they're pretty much all related to fishing!  It makes the ads feel relevant rather than intrusive.

This is my first experience on any kind of forum. Never really felt the need or understood the draw.

So lucky for me I have found not just the best fishing forum, but maybe the best forum of any kind on the web.

Most of what I know about fishing is because of everyone here, thank you to everyone especially the mods, they do a great job at moderating but more importantly they pump out some great info all of which I absorb like a sponge.

Perhaps even more important, although I do not post on this site as much as many others, this entire group of forum members really feels like a big family that I have got to know well.

Before I start soaking my keyboard with tears I better stop.

Oh, and thanks Glen, how could I forget about you. You made this all happen. You got us all together.

I don't post much but I read a lot. The knowledgebase is unreal. The forum is without peer. Best managed forum on the internet. Bar none. Thanks to all who help make it what it is. Like AJ said, words can't really do it justice. A huge resource.

I am glad that this is the 1st forum that I have discovered! Thanks Glenn and also thank you Mods! I cannot tell you how much I have learned, especially considering I’ve only been on here for a few months.

Of all the boards I do/have visit/ed this is definitely the best moderated. Thanks to all the mods and Glenn for doing such a good job.
