Yeah, I would agree with that. If it can hold a small outboard,  it works.

I'm pretty happy with what I have, that's why I bought em!

When we were looking for a boat, I kept teasing She Who Must Be Obeyed by sending links to Bullets and telling her the old story about how "If you're coangling, and your boater's driving a Bullet, just turn around and go home, cause they'll hurt you."

I'm incredibly happy with the little boat we got (especially for the price -- holy crap), but I'd be lying if I said stupid-fast boats made in East Tennessee weren't still whispering sweet nothings to me.

I'd be happy with a Shimano Calcutta casting reel. I've got most everything else covered.

I wouldn’t mind having a Caymas boat but I would want a Merc 300 instead of the Yammy.  But I will have to keep my Z20 for now.

I'd like a hog island boatworks set up with a tohatsu 60/40 jet with center console, poling platform and a trolling motor big enough to hold me in river current.

Daiwa Steez Limited and Steez Boost. (I just bought Zillion Boost and Steez HLC.)

I want but don't need them. I have more rods, reels and tackle then I'll ever use in my lifetime — or for my grandkids to use in their lifetime.

This is not technically gear, but I would love to have about 7 or 8 big sponsors. I would do a bit more traveling for tournaments etc.

I hear you. I will play devil's advocate. JW is great, but man his casting is crazy. One handed usually, whipping that thing like it owed him money. If I casted as hard as he appears to, then I would lash all the time.

If a bunch of new guys wanted to learn to use a baitcaster, I would not recommend him right off the bat, but he has mastered his way of doing it for sure!
