Shadow1 Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 Not sure where you live in Ohio Ohioguy25, but if you go to Dixie Marine in Fairfield, Ohio they have Tim Poe spinnerbaits, and another brand right beside his, they are killer on Smallies. I fish them on creeks here in Ohio as well as lakes in Canada. Great baits! 1 Quote
JWall14 Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 Most normal sized spinnerbaits will work fine. If it’s really a small river or creek I’d downsize but smallmouth are pretty aggressive so I wouldn’t worry. 1 Quote

Dogface Posted May 28, 2021 Posted May 28, 2021 The little "Beatle Spin". A favorite of mine on the North Branch of the Susquehanna and many other small SM streams. It is especially good for fishing riffles. The three colors I keep stocked up with are yellow, black and white. Quote
