We’re struggling to get into pre spawn.  Last week the river was 57 degrees.  At night it has gotten back down into the mid 30’s the last 3 nights.  So I don’t expect to warm much  unless this rain has helped get the temp up.

1) Devine swim bait on 1/4 swim jig

2) cranks

3) chatter bait

Just about to be spawn here. I haven’t got my boat out of storage yet, but I’ve been having a blast bank fishing. Most successful so far with:

- wacky rig senko (cinnamon and green pumpkin red flake colors)

- finesse jig (natural colors)

- Ned rig (especially when fishing the rivers)

Right now one is out doing the rest...NED.  Yesterday my neighbor and I had 45 bass in 3 hours with 9 nice keepers.  All were caught on Ned.  We also used swimbaits and spinnerbaits...0.

1- live minnow under a bobber

2 - small jig & tube

3 - live minnow under a bobber

I HATE bobber fishing.  Can't wait for Saturday when the real season finally opens.  This crappie stuff isn't for me.

I've caught a couple on t-rigs, but for the most part the bass are still chasing moving baits.
