Looking for recommendations on graphs in the $500-$1,000 range that offer the best bang for your buck. Hoping it will at least have down imaging and side imaging and a decent sized screen. It will be for the front of the boat. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you're not worried about maps - Garmin Striker 9sv - 9" screen, Down and Side scan - $600

Garmin 93sv UHD. They can be found for under $1000 with transducer. I just got a 73sv uhd for $550.

You're a month too late.  BPS had the Garmin Echomap 93SV with the GT54 transducer on sale for $650.  Don't know if that sale will show up again but the Echomap 73SV with GT54 transducer still shows up some at $450.  That's almost half price of the ones with the GT56 transducer.

Thanks everyone. It looks like it is a little late for the deals on those units. Missed some great deals.

I like the New FS Elite series from Lowrance. The 3 in 1 Xducer, and Active Target capable. $899 for the 7's and I think $1199 for the 9's. They come loaded with good maps as well from my understanding. I believe they also come with wireless networking capabilities as well.

For those of you who missed the good sales on the Echomap 93SV UHD earlier this year, this is the best deal I’ve found. I ordered my first one from them. Extremely fast shipping. NOTE this is the GT-54 transducer not the new GT-56. I’ve been happy with everything so far.

westmarine.com still lists the Garmin Echomap with the GT54UHD either the 93sv or 73sv at good prices. I have the 93sv, it's a good unit.

I like the Garmin except I need to get a dedicated battery for it. I have it connected to the TM battery and it's getting interference, even with a choke installed.

You got it in a box or direct-connect. I'm getting no interference on my Striker 7CV - but I'm connected to the battery through one of the Aux ports on a MinnKota Power Center.

I don't have a power center. Just a battery in a box
