After months of researching, reading, driving, test rides, etc... I finally found what I wanted. I honestly can't say any of the boats of I've ridden this past summer were bad. Each platform I had the pleasure of being on, would have made an exceptional fishing rig. In the end, I bought what I felt was the clear choice for me. 2008 BasCat Cougar FTD

I've had it to 81.2(gps) with me and full gear, but there is a bit left I think. After a couple weeks of fishing, I don't think I could be any happier with a boat.

SWEET RIDE!!

From the picture it looked like it had road racing tires on the trailer.  What kind were those?

I was fortunate to ride in one for a tourney.  WOT with 2 people and empty livewell we were running mid 80's on average.  Hit upper 80's a couple times with a tailwind.  Pretty freakin sweet rig though.... congrats

I keep telling myself: Thou shalt not covet. . .

That is just about the perfect bass boat.

You have to fish the Owners Invitational on Lake Norfork at least once.

One of the funniest tournaments ever. Also, join the owners forum. Just like this one, except its made up of Cat owners.
