Super User new2BC4bass Posted April 27, 2021 Super User Posted April 27, 2021 Finding reviews on this rod is like looking for hen's teeth. Haven't been using spinning gear for some time, but looking to downsize lures locally in hopes of actually catching a few fish. Considered the 7'1" MLF as ratings are nearly identical, but am assuming the M-XF should have a bit more power while the tip is fully capable of handling the same weight lures. Probably be trying a wide variety of lures, but looking to start with small finesse worms. As an aside, I am looking to move to Florida so I figured that was another good reason to go Medium power over a ML. 1 Quote

One of the few places I will read reviews on with the feeling that the posters actually know a little about fishing. Not a site for, "Bought my first baitcast reel. This is the best reel made! Caught a 3.5 lb. bass on it with no trouble. I will be buying more!" type of website. EDIT: And the rod I am looking at was mentioned once. Quite a bit on the MLF. Quote
