Jigsaw 2/8 Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 What is your most "all around" jig for Swimming, flipping, and pitching? My choice is a Hack Attack. 2 Quote

galyonj Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Siebert Dredge Dock Rocker is the business. I've done everything from swimming to punching to dragging across chunk rock with one and never had reason to second guess myself. In addition, it makes me look like I know what I'm doing when I skip. It ain't the perfect tool for every job, but it's close enough that I don't sweat the details. 2 Quote
Finessegenics Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 For the purposes you mentioned, mine would have to be the Hack Attack as well. If you add “dragging” to the equation then any jig with a round head would be my choice. 1 Quote
Super User Darth-Baiter Posted April 26, 2021 Super User Posted April 26, 2021 I’m a jig newb. I have had great success with the Keitech V2 football jig. It’s a bit snaggy, doesn’t help that I clip down the weed-guard. My local fish love chewing on them. The smaller profile fits their appetite well in my local lakes. It’s my confidence jig by far. I have bigger jigs loaded for CA Delta trips. 2 Quote
Dens228 Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 I'd say for me the Siebert Extreme Arky in 3/8 oz. 1 Quote
HaydenS Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 War Eagle finesse jig. I've had days when I couldn't get a bite while hopping or dragging, but then I swam it, and caught a fish every cast. I think the trailer is also important, based on what you are trying to do. Definitely my all around jig. 1 Quote

Lead Head Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Siebert dock or brush jig. I'm not sure one significantly out performs the other for me. I use them both for everything. 1 Quote
