Last year in Mn me and my dad were in the canoe bass fishing for these huge bass we were seeing in this clear water and I hooked a few that fought so hard and broke me off, (I was using a fly rod) and I finally got one to the boat and it scaled at 6.1 lbs. In all the exitement we forgot to get a girth and length do you guys have an estimate for those numbers it was a fairly fat fish.

Going the other way, it's (LxGxG)/800=pounds

Solving for pounds to L & G is a bit more difficult but we'll make an assumption based on average length to weight of 21-5/8 to 21-3/4 for a 6.1# bass so we'll split the difference and call it 21.7

6.1*800/21.7 = 224.88 - square root of that is 14.99

So best guess-timate is 21.7" long, 15" girth.

Not only can you do math, you can do it backwards!! You win the day IMO for displaying excellence in extrapolation
