Zebco202 Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 War Eagle spinnerbait with single colorado blade. Black preferred. My go to in low light/dark conditions. Always has been. I don't throw many colors in spinnerbaits. It's either black or white. 1 Quote
river-rat Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 My primary spinnerbait for the past 20+ years has been a single #4 1/2 or #5 gold colorado Hildebrandt blade on a 7/16 and 1/2 ounce spinnerbait I make myself. I use this mainly in the Atchafalaya Basin and anytime I'm faced with heavily stained water. I also use a 5/8 ounce single spin for night fishing. 1 Quote
Super User LrgmouthShad Posted April 23, 2021 Super User Posted April 23, 2021 Yup. Single colorado and double indiana for me. Have to buy indiana's because I use Nichols and they no longer make a double indiana. Single colorado = slower or helicopter. Downsized double indiana = faster and higher in water column. I am liking zoom split tail trailer Quote
Black Hawk Basser Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 One of the few spinnerbaits I use is a Terminator single blade in black with red highlights. The blade is sort of a hybrid between Colorado and willow, but it is much more similar to a Colorado blade. This one does about 75% of my spinnerbait work. The other 25% is a black/red double Colorado from BPS and a white double willow from BPS. I usually go 'on the cheap' for spinnerbaits because they have always worked well enough to not splurge on something $7+. Quote
Michigander Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Only spinner bait I really throw has a single big plastic blade. 1 Quote

zell_pop1 Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 The single Colorado blade catches more than any other, Stan Sloan short arms are the best for largemouth anyway. Quote
