I have tried the FG, Double Uni, Crazy Alberto and Albright knots for joining Flouro to Braid and this is the easiest and fastest knot for me on a bouncing wind blown boat.  Even easier in my backyard LOL.

That is easy...2 knots most people already know how to tie.  Thanks for sharing.

How is that easier than a uni to uni or a modified Albright?

It may not be for some folks, but for me Shaw's way works for me and makes a nice small knot that goes through the guides easily.

I’ll stick to an Alberto knot. It’s easier to tie in my opinion and has never failed me

I stick to FG, Time consuming but easy and it is 100%(figure of speech)

I will say this, the way he is tying the uni portion is the easiest way to tie a uni to a hook or lure, I would make the circle bigger to make it easier to get the wraps around. Takes longer to get the clippers out and snip than to tie and cinch. I've had folks standing in front of me ask "what's that knot?" and not believing it's a uni, until I slow it down and show them. Which is why just tying another uni makes more sense to me here.

It’s just another option...you were not trying to convert the board.  If it works for you, that’s all that matters.  Maybe it works for someone else as well.  Sometimes I wonder why people post videos just to get beaten down by others that think their way is better.  Just say thank you and move on if it’s not for you.

Again...thanks for sharing.
