JeffD Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 Hey guys, I just ordered some silicone material from Living Rubber because Fishing Skirtst seems to be out of many colors. I am a little surprised at the size of these tabs. These tabs are 3/4" wide. When I see these guys on YouTube making skirts they seem wider than that. They talk about using full tabs and half tabs. I might be wrong, but are these smaller than other manufacturers tabs? Quote
Bass Junke Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 Sounds about right. Never used living rubber but the silicone skirts are the same size. I use 2 and a half tabs for a jig, 2 tabs for spinners and buzz baits. Quote
Super User Munkin Posted April 20, 2021 Super User Posted April 20, 2021 I would have to measure the width to see what they are? You may have bought "fine cut" by accident . Allen Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted April 20, 2021 Super User Posted April 20, 2021 Living rubber co. sells fine cut (frogs hair) silicone tabs. They have 20 strands just like a full tab but they aren't as wide. The thinner strands make it look like a regular tab that was cut in half. Quote
JeffD Posted April 20, 2021 Author Posted April 20, 2021 These are not the fine cuts. I made sure not to order those. I guess I just thought they'd be wider. Quote
JeffD Posted April 20, 2021 Author Posted April 20, 2021 I just heard back from Fishing Skirts, and theirs are 5 3/4"×3/4". Same as Living Rubber silicone. I was wrong. Thanks for your help. Quote
