jtharris3 Posted April 17, 2021 Posted April 17, 2021 Looking at the top baits from the Sabine River tourney Taku had an interesting one rigged up. Ito created a heavy-duty Neko rig, using a Nories Sankaku T-San, rigged on a 2/0 Ryugi Infini Hook, with a 3/16oz. weight. 1 Quote

BassNJake Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 I used to buy these wacky rig baits and they were sold molded like that in 1 piece Eventually you see you have a hundred half pieces of senkos laying in the boat and decide to do this yourself. A piece of plastic is a great weedguard and when you add a screw lock it can be added to anything Quote

BassNJake Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 So whats the orange thing at the head? I thought some type of cone would be perfect for my toads My attempts at removing the metal threads from inside a wire nut were not successful I then used these tips from my wifes icing thingamajig and those did not work either. interesting bait he's got for sure, made specifically for the neko rig Quote

BassinCNY Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Does anyone know of any video of him fishing this weekend at Douglas? I'd like to see how he was working the baits. Quote
