Got a new daiwa tatula baitcaster and was wondering what the better rod between the two that my local shop sells... I’m choosing between a donyns furry rod or a st croix bass x, any and all reviews wanted and thanks in advanced ??

Probably not going to notice much of a difference between the two, honestly. I have two Bass X and they're fine rods for the money and never expected much out of them as they're my 'beater' rods, never owned a Dobyns so I can't give any opinions on them.

Between the two I would go with the Fury hands down. They're pretty solid rods at the price point. If you want to step up to the Mojo Bass, it's absolutely worth every penny.

I got my hands on the Bass X in a store a few months ago, and was tapping the tip on my kids jacket and I really couldn't feel a thing which is fairly normal with rods around $100 and less. When I did the same thing with the Mojo Bass, the difference was like night and day.

The BassX and Fury for the most part are overall evenly matched.  It comes down to personal preference of which one feels better in your hand.  Since you have the opportunity to handle them in person take advantage of that.  Bring your reel in and see how they balance on each rod, just make sure you ask the owner if its ok before hand.

Those were my first two choices that I had to decide from also when I bought my first good rod. I chose the Dobyns, and then 13 other Dobyns followed.

I never used a Bass X, but they seem pretty even quality wise. I just wonder if the action is different from the Dobyns.

What color do you like best, Green or Blue?

Can't comment on the Doobyns but I had a BassX.  I have had plenty of St Croix rods with no complaints at all but did NOT like the BassX.  It seemed lighter in action than advertised and as a whole was a bit "whippy".
