Why is it so difficult to buy fishing tackle? People advertise stuff when you order it then they tell you they don’t have that you place an order and it’s a month before it ever ships out and then it’s subject to be short a few things because it was out of stock. Discount tackle tackle warehouse tackle direct bass pro shops and Cabela’s coyote Karls. I don’t know where to look anymore. I certainly do not want to go to Walmart!

Most sites I use tells you if it is in stock. I don't order it if it isn't in stock.

No mention of it whatsoever excepted my order for the quantity that I listed everything is hunky-dory until I get a message saying we don’t have it.
I know it’s fishing season and I know it’s hard to keep stock of everything I wish there was an Amazon for fishing tackle one thing from tackle warehouse some thing else from bass pro shop some thing else from Carl’s most of my fishing tackle is shipping. Sorry just aggravated trying to fine Two or three sizes of oval split rings two or three sizes of standard and short shank trouble hooks seems like an easy thing to do I’ve been working on it for two days still no success

TW literally tells you how many it has in stock.

Yep. I've ordered from Tackle Warehouse dozens of times...I've never ordered something from there that said in stock that ended up out of stock on my order.

The problem lately (ya I know the Covid) has been they have it in stock and it's 3-4 weeks to ship. That's ok I can wait but then at 3 1/2 weeks ya get an e-mail they are now out of stock, really?

I've been ordering from The Hook Up Tackle, Omnia, and Tackle Trap, and they have all shipped out within a day or two without issue.

One of these days I'm gonna stop in Omnia's place - it's only a stone's throw from my parent's house...30 minutes from me.

Lucky you. Nothing around me. Unless you want a cane pole and a dozen minnows

What's wrong with regular ol Amazon? You can get most stuff there ...

Occasionally killer deals too - I've got a Pflueger Supreme on it's way from Amazon that I paid $62 for.

$10 says he was looking for the spinning reel ... i say that because I did too ?

Ahh - if I just say the base model name, it's a BC - if it was spinning, I'd have put the size in there or stated spinning.

funny you mention this.  I just placed an order through tackle warehouse earlier today.  everything that was bought was in stock.  SHortly after getting confirmation, I received an email saying that everything will be shipped out on May 3rd.  whyyyyyyyy. 2 weeks? really?

If it's coming from the California location, they're under mandatory restrictions - so they don't have the number of people working in the back-room as they normally would have. If you're getting it via normal ground, your order is put after the express service orders, then in order of receipt...so ya, it can be a bit.

Man we're spoiled. 2 weeks to get our shiny new fishing goodies and losing our minds? I just picked up my 2 handmade balsa cranks from a local builder tonight that I've been on the waiting list for 6 months to get ? If you need something right now then hop on Ebay and you can probably get it at your door in a couple days, you'll just have to pay a couple extra bucks in shipping instead of getting free shipping from TW.

Haha! Everyone reading this please drive to East Tennessee or northern Alabama. There are tons of stores with tons of lures, I’ve never waited two weeks for anything. Reminds me of George Clooney wanting his dapper dan hair pomade in “o’ brother where art thou”

”well isn’t this place just a geographical oddity, two weeks from anywhere”
