Super User Boomstick Posted April 15, 2021 Super User Posted April 15, 2021 Saturday was about 75. Now this is our forecast for the next couple of days. Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted April 15, 2021 Super User Posted April 15, 2021 HA! You're getting what we got a couple days ago. April 5, set a new record high for the day at 85 April 13...we had this. 1 2 Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted April 15, 2021 Super User Posted April 15, 2021 I hear ya Boom...Fortunately for me it's not making it's way much past the 495 corridor, unfortunately, it's potentially extending to my home in Maine where my boat is going on Saturday...UGH!...Oh well, it is New England and you leave the snow brush in the vehicle year round. ? I believe it's stopping right around I91, so it won't even come close to 495. 3 hours ago, DogBone_384 said: You’re not missing much. How are you guy doing in the Berkshires? Well it seems like it's only going to stick to my porch roof. Last night it was all rain but now it's hitting the ground as snow and melting instantly, so it doesn't look like anything will stick. I'm sure we need the water too, we didn't have much snow melt the last couple of seasons. Quote
Super User bulldog1935 Posted April 16, 2021 Super User Posted April 16, 2021 In s. Texas, I'll take the cool respite, because last week was too early summer hot and humid - a month ahead of when it normally hits. It is surprising to look at the 10-day forecast with a few lows in the 40s. Now I get pleasant cool weather when I chop the back acre next week. Quote
Super User gim Posted April 16, 2021 Super User Posted April 16, 2021 Here in central Minnesota, we've had significant snowfalls the last three Aprils straight. Not just an inch or two either, like 4-8 inches or more. While April snow isn't unheard of, its quite depressing to get that when fishing season legally starts in May and we're anxiously waiting for open water. Plus, it sucks trying to hunt turkeys when its "winter" out. Quote

Super User Boomstick Posted April 16, 2021 Author Super User Posted April 16, 2021 Well go figure. Nothing stuck aside from a light dusting on my porch roof. Quote

That's actually surprising considering the heaviest was west - central MA and north. I was down at Bryant University, RI today and they had more...We'll be mowing our lawns on Sunday...LOL Quote

I have to help my mom with some things, but hope to get out after that. Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted April 18, 2021 Super User Posted April 18, 2021 Snow was gone by dinner time. Finished the spring clean today, yesterday was just a mess with intermitting rain. It was a good day to pick up my boat and haul it to Maine though. Dad tagged along and we had a Martini and lunch. He's 82 y/o so my time with him is running out, so always a treat. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted April 18, 2021 Super User Posted April 18, 2021 We're forecast for an inch on Tuesday Quote
Russ E Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 It I supposed to snow in Kansas Tuesday. The temp will only be below freezing for a couple hours, so it will probably not stick. Quote
