I’ve heard mixed reviews on the zoom chunks so I’m excited to hear what trailers are your favorite.

My best luck has been with 4" Berkley Pit Boss - pack of 8 for $3.99 at TW.

Powerbait Chigger Craw or about any version of Zoom chunks.  I use regular chunks when it's colder and go to the swimming or ultra vibe chunks when it's warmer.

Gene Larew 4" Salt Craw - Black-Blue Glitter/Blue Claws

Zoom Big Salty Chunk - Flippin Blue, Flippin Purple, Black/Red Glitter

Rage Craw - Sapphire Blue, Junebug

Those 3 listed will cover all my needs on my home waters

Because no one answered your poll on your super sneaky "burner" account? LOL

Netbait Paca Chunk if you're looking for flapping claw action without too much bulk.

Berkley Pit Boss if you're looking for bulk.

Zoom (or other brand) twin tail grub. Does a fine job of imitating crawfish claws on the back of a jig and as a bonus it swims great as a trailer for swimjigs, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits etc.

Zoom chunks are good. They are one of the only trailers that come in my favorite color:  Pumpkin/rootbeer with green flake.

But there are some other good trailers under $4 most places:

-Big Bite Baits Chunk, Swimming Craw & Yo Mamma

-Yum Craw Papi & Christie Craw

-Netbait Paca Craw & Paca Chunk

All good value at that price.

Like many things on bass fishing today, there seem to be an endless amount of great options...

I myself typically have a rage tail bait of sorts tied on of I'm looking for a good bit of action.

For a little more subtlety, I like to use Zoom's lil Critter craw. @Bluebasser86 has recommended the Crock O' Gator ring Craw that also looks like it'd be a great choice. Try em all!!!

My best advice is to go to your local tackle store and look at the baits.

Some are made to move constantly.

Some are made to only move when you move them.

Some are made to just be an appendage sticking out the back.

It all depends on what you are doing with the jig and what the fish are in the mood for.

If it’s in your budget I would buy at least one of each type in more natural colors to start with. Black/blue, Greeen Pumkin, Watermelon.

Dont forget jigs are used to imitate bait fish too and that’s a whole different spectrum of baits also.

keep it simple if on a budget. the pit boss in a lower action trailer usually better in colder water. the chigger craw has more action and usually better in warmer water. start with those in black and green pumpkin. expand later as finances allow.

I use plastic  craws , sometimes half a lizard , the tails of used hula grubs or whatever else I find  lying on the bottom of the boat .

Spicy Beaver when I want bait action and a slower fall

Sweet Beaver when I want less action.

Zoom Lizard with the head cut off.  I had some and was looking for an excuse to use them up, since they weren't producing on a T-rig by themselves and wasn't about to throw them away, and wouldn't you know?  They're my best producing jig trailer by far!

Zoom super chunks, ultravibe speed craws, or any used plastic that I have in the bag.
