Matt Walker Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 I've been scouring the internet today in search of an old soft plastic bait from the 1990s. It was about 6 inches long, soft plastic, shad print on the sides, thin long body (think like a fluke but thinner and taller) and had a skirted or tassle tail, much like a tube. This thing apparantly never existed according to Google but me and my father both vividly remember this bait from my childhood. If anybody knows what this thing was called please let me know!! Quote
detroit1 Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 I believe they were called "big wag" and were made by Riverside. Probabally some on ebay... 1 Quote

As a huge Riverside fan back in the day, my vote would go them as well because they made a little bit of everything in terms of variations with their plastics. Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted April 13, 2021 Super User Posted April 13, 2021 I've seen that bait - but it has been a while- late90's - sometime around then. I seem to remember a picture of Guido Hibdon on the package, or maybe not. Anyway, I think it was marketed by Lucky Strike or Luck-e-Strike. Also maybe it could be a Renowski bait. They often did "life like" printing on the sides of some of their baits. 1 Quote
detroit1 Posted April 15, 2021 Posted April 15, 2021 The pic above is not a Riverside big wag, but i had 1 pack of those and i can't recall who made them. I like fishes in trees answer... Quote
Super User Deleted account Posted April 16, 2021 Super User Posted April 16, 2021 I have some but without the printed baitfish. Never did much good with them. Not sure who made them or where I got them. I have a bunch of small renosky printed shaddish things that work really well for me. Quote
