Hey everyone, somehow I broke the second eye from the top on my whipsnake. I still have the eye. I bought it about a year and a half ago. I have never repaired anything like this. Is it a pretty easy fix or should I send it back to megabass? I don’t think it will be an expensive repair but I hate to pay shipping both ways. Any advice?

I’d find a rod builder, repair or fly shop and have it done right.

I'd second this. Rod builders sometimes aren't hard to find. I had a similar repair done before. Often times a local tackle store will offer this service, and even if not they might be able to refer you to someone who can.

Contact Megabass USA @clemsondds, FYI there’s two warranty repair shops listed on their  website which are located in South Carolina.  If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right in my humble opinion. Hopefully this helpsthere’s two

FYI, the “eye” is a guide the inside is a ring when talking to  the company. You want the exact same guide and thread used to match the original rod.

I'll tell you what I'd do. Cry. I'd cry. But after that, I'd pull it together and take it somewhere to get it fixed properly.
