Anybody have any tips for how to catch early spring bass on the fly? What flies are best? I'm going this weekend out in my canoe and am hoping to get my first bass on the fly.

For numbers, it's hard to beat a black Montana stonefly. For size a small streamer or clouser, and a popper is always good once the water gets into the mid to high 50s as it is in a lot of places right now.

They will eat things that don't live there as surely as Brady will deflate a ball...
