I was watching an episode of Bill Dance and he recommended sitting instead of standing to fish . Which way do you fish, sit or stand?

Mostly I sit. Only times I always stand is to flip/pitch.

I'm young so I stand. I also find it easier to control my casts when I'm standing.

Stand when fishing, stand when fighting fish, sit when landing.

Similar to what @K1500 wrote, if fishing is slow & I'm dragging a dropshot around, the urge to sit while fishing is strong.

I pretty much stand while fishing @Skunkmaster-k the majority of the time. I don’t “Bill Dance” fish very much yet, I use the seat with the extended post to lean on when casting or pitching/flipping.

I rather stand or walk while bass fishing. At least this way I get some good exercise.

I stand about 50 percent of the time . I have a bad foot thats  not very strong so the balance is not good . Its not safe for me to stand unless its calm .

Young at heart, so I stand.

In fact, I took the pedestal seat(s) out of my rig.

If I am fishing solo, I will stand in the Old Town Canoe as well.

I stand to fish unless I need to give my back a short break.

I stand until I just can’t anymore.

I'm kayak fishing in the Oklahoma wind, so I sit mostly.  I've even developed a method of pitching that I can sit while doing.  It's basically just roll casting with the rod a few inches above the water.  It's a little harder to do without making a splash, but I can pitch it a lot further that way.

But if the weather's nice, I'll stand as much as I can.  If nothing else, just to stretch the old legs.

I prefer to stand as much as possible. The years, injuries and arthritis in my knees and hips will probably have me sitting soon.

I have a pedestal bike style seat on the front deck that I use for most of the season while I'm bass or muskie fishing.  Its more of a lean-to type seat rather than a chair.

I have a standard height folding chair up there in the spring when I'm crappie fishing because I tend to do more bobber fishing.

On the back deck, I always keep a folding chair.  My Father will often go with and he's 68 so I know he likes to sit quite often.

On shore, dock, kayak, or boat: stand if possible.
