Do you gave a recipe for that bread pudding minus the barbecue and the backwash? Have not been able to find a good bread pudding sense my mom died.

So what you made was Smokey bottle bottom spittle bread pudding? Doesn't have the same ring to it

It went over well. 1/2 the tray got eaten alamode with vanilla ice cream. The other half went home with dad.

one can add chocolate to the  base. i worked w/ a chef who used hot dog buns for the bread

Man this reminds me of the bread pudding my Grandmother used to make.  It was soooooooo good.  I could eat a whole pan of that stuff.  It was homemade bread pudding with hand-crushed raspberries on top with a dabble of whipped cream.
