Dobyns Sierra 735C or Kaden 745C would fit the bill.

The 745C Kaden has a lot faster action than the 735C Siera.
If that makes a difference to you.

I haven’t gotten the Kaden yet.
Im going off what Dobyns told me when I called them.

I really like the Siera for frogs.

It seems like it was made fir them.

I bought the Kaden as a backup frog, buzz bait, swim bait and heavy cover bottom presentation rod.
It’s supposed to be on par with thier Champion line for weight, balance and sensitivity which isn’t necessary on a dedicated frog rod.

We’ll see

Edit...The sensitivity comment was only meant for frog fishing...

Daiwa tatula 7’4 frog or the Daiwa KAGE 7’4 frog . I have the tatula and it’s light and I can fish frogs all day. My next rod will be the KAGE.

I have the Tatula 7'4" frog rod. It has a ton of power to pull the biggest bass out of the thickest of cover and it casts the smaller 2.25" LiveTarget frogs which happen to be my favorite very well.

If you are looking to double up and fish jigs, get the Sierra 735C which has a softer tip and is better for multi-use, but if you want a pure frog rod, the 7'4" Tatula is absolutely awesome for that.

Since I just set up my frog rod, ive come to some information from pros that they known as frog fisherman like Ish. You need to get moderate fast(not Fast) action, Because you want the rod to load ad hold the fish specially 3lb plus.

XH no need at all, you need the heavy action at the most.

also length of it 7'2" to 7"4".

Yes that is really weird but you can search yourself.

Anyways I had the XH Curado Rod 8' and I pair it with Curado DC 150 size, for smaller swimsuits and frog and punching heavy matts here in SoCal. But if you can do it from scratch and choose rod, Make sure to do research and ten go to branding.

I hope that could help you.

Where are you finding the “Kage” frog rod? Even when I search Daiwa’s website I see no mention of the Kage frog rod,I see Tatula’s but no Kage. I’m currently using a Lews 7’-3”” Carbon Fire but it really has no tip action like a frog rod should. I’m going to try to hit my local tackle shop in the next week or two as they carry a wide array of rods.

Its a surface reaction bait, so I don't need to pay for a ton of sensitivity.

I like the Favorite Rods 7'2" Sick Stick (Medium/Heavy). Has a ton of backbone and a great tip section for casting Spro Popping frogs. If I was fishing pads or slop, I'd go longer and a little stiffer, but here in North East Georgia, we fish bank overhangs and isolated cover; more of a weedless popper and skips wayyyyyy back under stuff where the giants hide. Very little grass.

The Sick Stick is very light and easy to cast accurately. Also works great as a fluke rod.

Not the biggest fan of Favorite, but I dig the Sick Stick.

IROD IRG754F Fred’s Frog Stick has been around for long time, hard to find a better frog rod.  Get Gen 3 is an upgrade...$149.

Based on feedback here that's what I bought (last gen) and I really like it. I've also started using it for heavy-ish single hook presentations as there's enough tip for that too.

I use a Falcon Bucoo 7' 4" H/F, it's a great rod for frogging.

I have the 7'4" Tatula frog rod now, But if I sell it or it brakes somehow, I'll be getting the Irod. I own a few Irods, great value, same goes for the warranty and customer service.

I'm surprised more members don't buy these rods.

Sierra 735c is the best I have used + lifetime warranty + there is always a 20% off sale somewhere.

IROD's Fred's Magic Stick, I hear is really good and I wouldn't hesitate to get one.

The new Tatula's aren't near as light as the Original Tatula's. My 7'0 Tatula M/R weighed the same as my 7'0 Dobyns Fury MH/F.

I have the Gen2 version of the FMS and it is amazing.  It's not a rod for open water popping, but for long cast-n-drag or moving topwaters like toads/buzz worms it is perfect.  It's can handle thicker trebles, so smaller wake and glidebaits are good on it as well.

I would have bought the Irod but I got the Tatula because there was a chance I could fit it inside my truck without sticking the tip out the window. Still very happy with it - from what I gather they are very similar.

I think you'll be happy with the Tatula.
