This may be a bit of a weird question.  Of all the fishing shows you watch (Youtube or whatever), which of them do you get the sense that they just really love to fish?  It sounds crazy since they are all making their living fishing, but I really think for some it's more of a job than others.  I say this even for fisherman I respect for their skill.  Which of these people would still be out on the water if there were no cameras rolling, no sponsors to please, no money on the line?

For me, the clear winner is Al Lindner.

A-Jay lol.

Just like hunting, I vastly prefer watching “guys like us” that video their trips and catches/kills vs pros.

Seth Feider doesn't have his own channel, but posts vids, including instructional ones, on other sites. .I love watching his Lake Minnetonka vids cause that's my main hunting grounds.

The question being which TV/social media personality is most passionate about fishing... without doubt, Al Lindner has never lost the fire in his belly for chasing fish and is my answer.  God, family, fishing, I admire him for having his priorities in order.

I met Al way back in the late 70s when he was helping to host a seminar and mini-tournament on Lake Bemidji when I lived up there. He hasn't lost any of his enthusiasm in all that time.

Don’t watch any “You Tubers”

Off the top of my head I’d say Hackney, Big O, and Zona.

Bill Dance is my all time favorite. Justin Rackley is a close second.

Bass resource and wired to fish are also favorites

YouTubers only? John at Creek Fishing Adventures. The man absolutely loves to go fishing, usually in small to medium size creeks and rivers. Sometimes it's blue gill, sometimes catfish. Most of the time he's bass fishing. Doesn't seem to care if they're big or small, he just likes going fishing.

Tylers Reel Fishing.

The young man loves fishing and teaching folks how to fish. It’s definitely his job as well. I think he does video production work for Strike King. The Kings of Bass series.

The Googans, but Jon b and Ap especially. Their is a lot of passion in their videos and they travel all over the country and world chasing after different fish.

I've saved all them off to my hard-drive for perusal in the future.

NDYakangler.  One of the few channels on youtube that I can stomach.  All killer no filler.

Big fan of TAFishing out of the UK.  Most of his fishing technique doesn't apply to me due to regulations and being landlocked.  But Graeme is entertaining and some of his tips are very useful.

Can't stomach most fishing YouTube channels as they are nothing more than bad used car salesman.  I get on YouTube to get away from commercials, don't need to watch 4 min of commercials for a 30 second video.

I'm not really looking for favorite channels so much as those guys or girls that are out there just for the sheer love of fishing.

I agree about NDYakangler.

He's probably not on anyone's radar, but if you like to watch someone who just loves to fish, check out the Fighting Fisherman channel on Youtube.  He's in England (I think) and mainly fishes for rough fish.

He must get a kick out of it. Hasn't stopped giggling since I started watching him back in the 80's.

For strictly youtubers I'd say Creek Fishing Adventures seems to love the fishing that he does. Two of my favorites that seem to absolutely love fishing though are not strictly youtubers. B-Lat and DC both seem completely addicted to fishing.

1.  Fish the Moment - As far as teaching, no other channel comes close and I put it in here because it is clear Jonny absolutely loves what he does (fishing).  Randy too.

2.  Richard Gene the Fishing Machine.  A simple, humble approach to fishing and the guy knows his stuff...a really skilled angler.  I love how he appreciates each fish...it's comical after awhile as every one is a "Beautiful fish" but he'll gently release them opposed to the drop kicks half the guys do.

2.  NDYakangler.  I'll put this on when I want to go to sleep peacefully.  So calming.

3.  Greg Blanchard, though his videos are getting a bit too "produced."

4.  Realistic Fishing.  Simple vids, funny personality.

5.  Catfish Dave.  Quite a character with a dry simple humor.  All the videos are about the same but I just get a kick out of them.

Edit:  I stand by that these are in response to the original post - people who love to fish.  Sure I've got others but they didn't make the cut for that criteria.

I think we're drifting off the topic and back into "Who's your favorite YouTuber".  Let's get back to the former and the latter.

BTW, the answer to the latter - by time the thread is 2 pages long - is "everyone".
