25 years is forever in Hollywood marriages and internet forums.

I like shallow, rocky rivers best.  The best one I've fished is the Susquehana (sorry New River, I love you, but she's just better).

Do you happen to have any pictures of what the site looked like back then?

Yes.  Here's the homepage:

And here's what the forums looked like:

Although these were taken a few years after launch, the design is the same.

What were the top few threads from the first year?

Either “what’s the best” or

“how big do you think my bass is”

Big congrats, Glenn. 25 years is a testament to your vision of what an online community could be.

It does not seem like it, but, I have been along for the ride for 16 of those years. Time do fly when you’re havin fun.

Delta here too.

I also like Lake Tulloch. It's fed by New Melones and near Don Pedro and other so-called Motherlode lakes, but it's relatively unknown. It's almost always full, by law, and it's beautiful with pretty nice large and smallmouth. It used to be a party lake but the resort is now a rehab facility haha. It's been pretty quiet in recent years. My Dad lives on it so I'm biased.

But ya, Delta, and I've barely even scratched the place.

Congrats, Glenn!  Like Western WA has a chance compared to other parts of the country, lol.

I’ll just kick back and enjoy reading the posts in this thread.
