Super User ATA Posted March 19, 2021 Super User Posted March 19, 2021 Guys today I was arranging my swimsuits and I couldn't find a place for five of them because they are so big and I cant fit them in any of my tackle storages, So I was thinking to send aa picture of them and share with you. Note that I never use them even once and probably I am not going to unless I have boat and try them there so in case if they snag I have chance ti retrieve them. I didn't include my Deps (10 Inches or Hinkle trout), I just list the one 11" plus. Here they are. From Top to bottom: 1- Roman Made Mother Chaser(Length: 16 in Weight: 1 lb 7.2 oz) 2- Klash Ghost(Length: 13 In Weight 8.8 oz) 3- Roman Made Mother triple(Length: 12 in Weight: 9.5 oz) 4- Roman Made Mother(Length: 11.8 In Weight: 10.5 oz) 5- Hiroshima Custom(Length: 11 In Weight: 7 oz) 1 Quote
ajschn06 Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 You don’t have a boat? You could buy a decent one selling a couple of those ? 8 Quote
Super User WRB Posted March 19, 2021 Super User Posted March 19, 2021 To DD bass the population at the lakes fished needs to support them. Our local SoCal big bass population is marginal at best. Any lake that has both FLMB and a striper population the competition for trout as a prey source gives stripers the advantage. If the DFW starts regular hatchery trout plants you odds go up. Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 19, 2021 Global Moderator Posted March 19, 2021 You could buy a pretty decent kayak for what that Chaser cost ? I'm looking for some bass that size for my kayak tournament I'm in right now, haven't caught any quite that big yet since it started ? Okay I'm done. 3 2 Quote

Mr. Aquarium Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 I love big swimbaits. My biggest was a 13 inch Matt’s dead twitch, I think the biggest now is my 10 inch slammer, got a few big spooks like the rago slob stick, and hardcore hellfire missile. My favorites are the 9 Inch slammer! 1 Quote

Mr. Aquarium Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 I own a ton of swimbaits, mostly Matt’s, slammers , hudds and real preys. Picked up a KGB benson, bullshad, toxic wake and crank, pats, a lancotti psycho gill, and a DS crank over winter! 1 Quote
Super User WRB Posted March 19, 2021 Super User Posted March 19, 2021 Right now is the time to on the water targeting DD bass, 12 lb is certainly possible. A friend of mine found a new 7” trout Roman Mother, beautiful lure, didn’t know they made it that size. Tom PS, keep in mind jigs work. 1 Quote

Super User JustJames Posted March 19, 2021 Super User Posted March 19, 2021 Tell you what. I have a storage that would fit. I have a kayak and my lake is plenty with DD bass. Send it my way and I’ll catch some for you. Oops forgot I sold all my big swimbait gear last year so if you please send me rod/reel as well. I’m not too picky and will appreciate you a lot.??? 1 Quote
Super User ATA Posted March 19, 2021 Author Super User Posted March 19, 2021 Nice, I see you got Klash as well. 1 Quote
Fred Allen Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 Those baits are awesome. That top one alone costs more than my kayak, all my rods/reels and most of my tackle box put together! 1 Quote
