Bobber/Peg Stoppers

What is your favorite?  

 

I'm having an issue where the wire is pulling out before the stopper slides on the line.  I've tried to use saliva to lubricate, with no luck.  I imagine it is a result of the line diameter, or the wire assemble is just garbage.

 

Suggestions or tricks, please.

I use VMC Sinker Stops - haven't had an issue...but the only lines I use stops on are .010"-.013"...dunno about thicker or thinner lines.

I bought a huge bulk pack from someone on one of the FB groups that has lasted me several years now. Some pull off the wires, but they were so cheap to buy the way I did that it's not an issue.

I like the p line punching pegs for braid and for heavier floro.   Ut you can use them on light lines too. I've used just about everything else for average size lines.   The 6 sense makes good ones they seem to hold up good.  Mustad makes good ones too.  But if I'm flipping and kinda cover or punching, gonwith p line.  Also good for making a Carolina rig with out having all the hard ware

Maybe get stopper one size bigger. If you buy from place that didn’t not advertise size buy from somewhere else. I have small and medium, the small fit up to about 4-6lb, medium 8-12lb(hybrid line size).

I use the Medium size for 8-14 LB test line. I purchased mine on Ebay, you get a pack of 72 for under $5.00.

They probably all come out of the same chinese factory. These have worked well for me.

Also, what do you mean the wire is pulling out? Like the wire is breaking off the main clip thing?

Also, what do you mean the wire is pulling out? Like the wire is breaking off the main clip thing? 

 

Bulk pack for me as well, I think I got like 600 for 6 or 7 bucks on Amazon. They work as intended. Only way I'd buy them again.
