I have never caught a bass and I’m really eager to. I’ve tried but I need to keep trying. I read about spinner baits and they sound great what’s everyone’s favorite color for them? Also does anyone have any tips?

Mostly a shad color with two silver or a silver and a gold willow blade.

Keitech 3.8 Impact Fat trailer.

That's probably 80% of my use.

The other 20% would be a white/chartreuse skirt.

I like white, chart green or combos of these colors. Black can be good also. Type in " spinnerbait " in the search bar here. Lots of good reading there. Good Luck!

For 30 years my favorite was a single gold Colorado with black skirt.  Now one  lake I fish often I prefer the light colored ones in first picture, Lake Chapala I have luck with dark colored skirts in second picture.  Dark colored ones crushed them at Chapala a few days ago.

White or chartreuse/white, chartreuse/white/blue

Tip:

Get a 1/4 oz white spinnerbait with 1 gold willowleaf & 1 silver Colorado.

Throw it at every target you see

White is probably my favorite but black was very effective at night last season for me.

War Eagle Spot Remover.

A 3/8oz double willow is a good place to start.  Get a good feel for it and branch out from there!

White or black. Day or night. That’s as complicated as I get with them.  I’m more diverse with trailers.

I throw bright whites and chartreuses' until the spawn . Shortly after that I go to duller baitfish colors .The bass really get hammered in the spring with spinnerbaits ,so I get more bites with muted colors in the warmer weather .

Whitish/shad colored with double silver willows.  Night is solid black with a black Colorado blade.

I also like white or white/chartreuse, but if I'm fishing more stain water where the main forage is bluegill, I like this guy.

Maybe I'm weird, but I I like gold and copper blades with dark skirts in clear water.  I always prefer some color in the flash when I'm fishing waters that have mostly bluegill, other sunfish, and yellow perch forage.

I fish the whites, chartreuse and silver blades in darker/murkier water.

White or black for me also. But I’m throwing very lite spinnerbaits nothing over 3/16 oz. I guess you can call them micro size similar to my jigs.

Any color will do as long as it's white!

That was an accident that I put it as a solution.

What brand is this?

That particular spinnerbait is made by Revenge. It's rather heavy (1 1/4 oz). They do have a 3/8 and 1/2 oz. in a willow/Colorado. I was more using that pic as a reference for a bluegill color w/double gold willows. Siebert's has a nice variety of bluegill colors, but I don't think you can get gold blades. Maybe you can if you contact him.
