rtwvumtneer6 Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Curious if anyone has recently used the Falcon rod replacement program? TSA opened and examined my Bazuka and modified a 7'4" into a 7'1". Before I saw the bank, I was hopeful I could get your experience and feedback on the process. Their website also says the exact model is out of stock. Any ideas how they handle that? Thanks! Quote
CountryboyinDC Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 I've done a couple replacements with them. My fault both times and I let them know that they were. Both times it was like $100 and I had to send them the section that has the model number. For me, they tried to replace a Cara T7 with a new Expert last time because the Caras were out of stock. I told them I'd wait for the Cara, and I think the wait was 4 months. They treated me right both times. 1 Quote
swhit140 Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 I broke a Falcon Expert rod last year, it was my fault. I shipped the damaged rod with a copy of my receipt/shipping information and $20.00 for return shipping of a new rod. I got a new replacement rod no questions asked about 2 weeks later. https://shop.falconrods.com/pages/customer-service 1 Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted March 11, 2021 Super User Posted March 11, 2021 It has been a while, but I broke a couple of their rods, long out of warranty and for what seemed to me to be a reasonable cost I got two very similar rods back. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 11, 2021 Global Moderator Posted March 11, 2021 I had a Bucoo SR break last year that was a defect and they replaced it fast and with no hassles at all. Great CS experience. 1 Quote
