Bdnoble84 Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 I see on Barlows they have a new brand of hook called victory. Seem at the lower end of the price spectrum. Wonder if this is a good indicator of quality? Anyone have any experience with these. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 9, 2021 Global Moderator Posted March 9, 2021 Currently making a Barlow's hook order and looked at them. The look good, but at about the same price as the Eagle Claw's I already use and trust, I'm not sure I'd try any just yet. Quote
Bdnoble84 Posted March 9, 2021 Author Posted March 9, 2021 I think im going to try 25 of the 30 degree. At half the price of mustad and vmc, worth a try Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted March 9, 2021 Super User Posted March 9, 2021 Do-it molds is also carrying them. From what I've heard is that the company was started by two guys, one worked for Mustad and the other for Matzuo. I do not know how true that is but I'm going to give them a try myself. Quote
Tim Kelly Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 Hope the Matzuo is the accounts guy and the Mustad guy is production! 3 Quote
