vaparrothead Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 I did a search and the only forum files I could find were from 2016. Does anyone know if the Reservoir is open for fishing this year? Quote
Super User Darren. Posted March 9, 2021 Super User Posted March 9, 2021 Far as I can tell it is open, though Covid 19 social distancing is required. Haven't been up there in a spell, but you can call the park to verify. https://dwr.virginia.gov/vbwt/sites/beaverdam-park-main-entrance/ https://www.gloucesterva.info/497/Beaverdam-Park Quote
vaparrothead Posted March 9, 2021 Author Posted March 9, 2021 Wrong reservoir; the one I'm looking for is in Loundon county, N. VA but thanks for the update Darren Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted March 9, 2021 Super User Posted March 9, 2021 From their FB page...today, I think: Warmer weather is upon us! Thinking about an adventure to the reservoir? A couple of reminders. -Park grounds and the gate at Mt. Hope Road parking lot is locked at sunset. For your convenience closing times are posted at the gate and launch. -We kindly ask that everyone is off the water and out of the parking lot at the posted time. -Daily launch fees are required per vessel and can be paid at the drop box. Don’t carry cash? Annual launch passes per vessel can be purchased at Brambleton Golf Course for $40 and provides access to all NOVA Parks launch points. Non trailer and non motorized launch only at Beaverdam Reservoir. -Weekends will be busy with launch traffic and the lot may periodically close for capacity. To avoid congestion, we encourage hikers to access the trails to the right of the NRPA building located at 22377 Belmont Ridge Road. Quote
